Site credits

We use site credits as our virtual currency. Site credits are by default enabled for all user accounts regardless of membership but they can only be used in transactions between users who are friends.

• To enable site credits between you and a person, become friends with that person. 
• To disable site credits between you and a person, stop being friends with that person.

You can use site credits to flirt with new friends, to give tips and gifts to your good friends, to pay or get paid for online entertainment, and to buy yourself a membership. Please note that site credits cannot be withrawn from our site.

About the value of site credits

The value of one (1.00) site credit as it sits in your account on My Purple Rabbit equals one (1.00) euro (EUR or €), the main currency of the European Union. If you use a different currency in your country, please go here to convert your currency to euros.

When you buy site credits (load your account) we add 20% on top to cover processing and various other costs. This means that to buy one (1.00) site credit you need to spend one euro and twenty cents (1.2 €).

There are no fees or costs associated with transferring site credits between user accounts, and your site credits will always retain their value as long as they are in your account on the site - but since site credits are a virtual currency they have no value outside of our site nor can they be withdrawn from our site.

Load your account

You can use three methods to load your account with site credits.

• You can buy site credits (using your credit card).
• You can receive site credits as gifts (i.e. as tips or flirts).
• You can earn site credits (through something you do for your friends).

Buy site credits

You use your credit card to buy site credits.

• Log in and click your Account (My Wall > Account).
• Locate the section where it says: Buy site credits here.
• Select the amount of site credits you want to buy. Notice that the purchase price is 20% higher than the actual value you will receive.
• When you click the Checkout button you are taken to the secure site of your payment processor of choice where you conclude your transaction.
• Upon completion you return to your account, and you will find that the site credits you purchased have already been deposited in your account and are ready for use.

Receive site credits

If you are an active user with an interesting, well maintained and frequently updated profile, your friends might thank you by tipping you with site credits.

New and potentially very good friends might use site credits to flirt with you, in order to catch your attention properly.

Earn site credits

You could for instance entertain your friends on webcam and get paid with site credits.

How to give site credits

You will see little gift icons in your friend's profiles immediately below their profile photos, and also next to each photo and video they publish.

• Select the amount you want to give and click the Give button.
• Available amounts are between 1 and 50 site credits.

The gift (tip, flirt) is immediately transferred to your friend's site account, your friend is notified of the deposit by email, and the transaction is visible in the Transaction history section of your friend's account page.

Transfer site credits between accounts

You can also easily transfer amounts from 10 to 100 site credits from your account to the accounts of your friends.

• Log in and click your Account (My Wall > Account).
• Locate the section where it says: Transfer site credits.
• Select the name of your friend from your list of friends.
• Select the amount you want to transfer to your friend.
• Check 'Notify recipient by email' if you want and then type the explanation for the transfer in the textbox on the right.
• Click the Transfer button to transfer the funds to your friend's account.

Are you receiving unwanted site credits?

Only friends can give each other site credits. If you are receiving unwanted attention from someone, stop being friends with that person.

Site credits cannot be withdrawn from MyPurpleRabbit.com

Site credits are a virtual currency only. They have a certain and fixed value on our site but they have no value outside of our site and they cannot be sold or traded outside of our site. Site credits cannot be withdrawn from MyPurpleRabbit.com in any form at this time.
