Share your Public Content Online through Search Engines
Search engines can read and understand your public posts. "Public" post are your profile and public profile photos, the photos and videos in your public albums, and your public blogs and their public photos and videos.
Search engines will read your content in order to index it - to save it to their database - so that they can make it available later to people who are looking for something specific online.
MyPurpleRabbit.com is "optimized" for search engines, which simply means that we have made it really easy for search engines to understand things a cetain way. But because search engines don't watch - they read, like a blind person would - you must use your own words to tell the search engine what it is you are actually doing.
I have put together three blogs where I show and explain how you can define certain areas of your profile to be understood a certain way, and to get the attention of the person who comes...somewhere...across a shared or re-posted or re-tweeted item you have originally posted here.
Part #1: Usernames and Screen Names
Here I discuss the importance of your username and screen name and how a unique screen name (like Horny Man Smith) can define you and give you a unique online presence in search engines.
Part #2: The Profile Headline
The Headline of your profile is like a billboard next to the highway. If it's catchy you will take a second look; you will notice it. If it's dull you won't. In this blog I show how a catchy headline ("Cam Girl from Iceland") can get you huge amounts of attention through search engines and social networks.
Part #3: Profile Description
When your profile is shared on social networks the Profile Description field shows up on people's walls along with your Profile Headline. In this blog I discuss how your "description field should summarize your entire online presence in a couple of short, sweet sentences that...yes, tell it like it is".
